We are pleased to announce that Tom Hazen has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of VIDA Bioenergy, effective 15 January 2025.
Tom Hazen brings a wealth of experience in business development, M&A and finance, gained through a distinguished international career. Before joining VIDA, he worked at TES-H2 and Shell in senior financial and commercial roles in multiple businesses, including hydrogen, nature based solutions, CCS, geothermal and conventional energy. His experience in the energy domain and dedication to the energy transition will contribute to Vida Bioenergy’s mission to become one of Europe’s leading biomethane producers and to transform sustainable organic material into energy, providing clean energy products like biomethane, biogenic CO2, and organic fertiliser.

Tom is a Dutch national who holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
